The popup didn't have a "print" button. Also, right-clicking on the popup doesn't have a PRINT option, and being a popup, there's no menu either.

That's a serious omission by FF.

You can use { Ctrl + P } to initiate printing in that type of situation.

As far as the lack of a Print menu item in the contextual menu, Firefox has never had one. But there are a few extensions which add that context menu item. I use this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/print-edit/
