How do I email a screenshot to you to try solve problem I am having?
I have 7 email accounts with Optimum. They are shown in the screenshot (beloe) in the panel on left. I want to change the order that they appear to: burtga@gmail.com (topmost), then in order (top to bottom): burtga@optonline.net -- shelliga@optonline.net -- NEW IMAP bridge11590@optonline.net -- OLD POP bridge11590@optonline.net -- mimic11590@optonline.net -- triqua@optonline.net
I cannot paste the screenshot HERE. Nor can I paste it using MS Paint because I'm barely computer literate. But I managed to get is pasted into a blank email. If you would send me an email address, I could send it to you and (hopefully) get the problem solved as indicated in the paragraph above.
Thanks in advance. BURT

Go to add ons and search for Manually Sort Folder to change the order account folders are listed.

unable find Manually Sort Folder; however finally managed to create a .PNG screenshot in "Pictures". Uploaded it. Now (to review) want to change order of the email accounts in the panel on left of the screen. Also, want to add at top above all of them a Global Folder that contains the emails in ALL of the accounts in one view on screen.
Congrats! You uploaded an image. Now did you install the add on so you can rearrange the Folder Pane?
The answer is still to use the Manually Sort Folders add-on.
Get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/thunderbird/addon/manually-sort-folders/
…and this article: http://xenos-email-notes.simplesite.com/416814616
…may help you install it.
Your chances of success with a Global Folder depends on how your accounts connect. POP-connected accounts can use the Global Inbox. which appears under Local Folders, and this could be sorted to near the top. IMAP-connected accounts don't co-operate with Global Folders, so instead you could try Unified Folders, or learn about Saved Search folders and use them.
