It is unbelievable to me that Firefox has had the same problem for literally years (I noticed it back in 2012) and that the Mozilla team has not come up with a permanent solution. I have been through the list of "try this, try that" many, many times, and none of them work. My browser crashes approximately 10 times per day. It's always the same: Adobe Flash causes it to crash.

I don't understand why this isn't the highest priority for the development team. It makes Firefox absolute torture to use.

I just started suffering from this problem late last week. There have been indications for about the past four weeks that something weird was going on involving Flash, but it was never bad enough to lock the browser up. As of last Friday, I can't run Firefox with Adobe Flash installed. So I got rid of Flash but that presents another set of problems on a lot of websites.
