downloaded new firefox update. now browser and search fonts are really small. webpages show up correctly.

After installing new update this morning the fonts in browser and search findings are smaller. Webpages show up correctly. I've checked the display setting and I have it set on 1600x900 resolution the other option was 1024x798 and it made everything really wide. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the response Wesley. I opened the menu on my browser and saw a setting just below cut, copy, and paste. For some reason this percent was changed to 60. I changed it back to 100% and all is well. I was making this way to difficult. Haha.

It sounds like your font settings in Firefox may have been changed or reset. Please try the following to change them:

  1. Open the Firefox options
  2. Click Content
  3. Change the Fonts & Colors settings
  4. Click the Advanced button
  5. Check Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above
  6. Restart Firefox

If that does not fix the issue, please see if you have a userChrome.css file in your Firefox profile. This file is used to manually change visual settings in Firefox and may be altering the browser's appearance.

Please try the following to see if you have this file:

  1. Enter about:support in the Firefox address bar
  2. Click the Show Folder button in the Profile Folder section of the Application Basics table
  3. Open the chrome folder inside of your profile folder if you have one
  4. Check for a userChrome.css file inside of this folder

If you do not have a chrome folder or it is empty, then you do not have a userChrome.css file. If you have a userChrome.css file, please try renaming it to userChrome.css.old and restart Firefox.
