The bookmarks I saved last are not visible now. What do I do

I had bookmarked some websites and was signed in to Mozilla. I was hoping that Mozilla would save that and I could open Firefox and another computer and find those bookmarks. I cant seem to find them now. I got a new computer, is that the issue? I thought my bookmarks were synced to my account with Firefox though. Any help would be much appreciated.

When you want add an additional device to Sync, use the section of that article entitled Connect additional devices to Sync. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-sync-my-computer#w_connect-additional-devices-to-sync
