why do my outgoing emails appear to be sent by other people
I am currently running a new version of Thunderbird 45.0 a resent update. However, for some reason when I send emails, they seem to go from my sent item/box but appear to be composed by other people in my address book.
It also means the recipients doesn't reply to me but to the other person who has no knowledge of the email in the first place. How can I fix this?
Thanks

The From and Recipient Columns have been combined in a new and confusing Correspondent column. It gets confusing when you cc yourself or other people. At the right end of the column header bar is a small icon. Click that and turn off Correspondents and turn on From or Recipient where applicable.
Thank you very much Airmail, your suggestion helped a bit however, I have noticed that if I was to 'forward' or 'edit as new', some emails but not all, are composed as though they are from the original sender.
There must be a bug fix for this. I realize I have to now watch all my outgoing emails in just case but it's just frustrating.
Any thoughts on this?
No ideas there. My version is not doing that.
