Firefox 47.0 forgets to erase onmouseover highlightning when I move the mouse over the menu. This is both menus and bookmark toolbar. I am using Windows 10 and high contrast settings. As soon as the mouse leave the dropdown menu zone the erase work fine.

(mouse is over the last "green" but didnt printscreen very well)

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
