Hi there! I am running Thunderbird version 2.0.0.24 on Windows 7, and I would like to upgrade and move my data to the latest version - OR - keep Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 installed and functioning, while I run a the latest version along side it (both versions running). Either scenario would work for me. Thanks for the advice!

1. backup your thunderbird profile 2. install the latest version from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/

Thank you for the reply. So, what you're saying is that the backup is "just in case," and that when I upgrade to the latest Thunderbird, that it will replace my Thunderbird 2 install, and when it finds my profile, all my accounts and emails will show up in the new version. Is that correct? Thanks again.
