I have the same problem after upgrading to 45.5.1 , I did everything that was on the support page. I even uninstalled Thunderbird, cleaned every reference to it in the registry of Windows 7 , deleted the profile folder. Did a clean install and still have the same problem. Cannot connect to smtp-server.xx.xx.com. Connection timed out. Please fix this I have been using Thunderbird for years and this is the first time this has happened. I also installed Em email and everything works just fine. Thanks
