Is there a way to delete/change profanity in facebook articles

more options

I would like to forward internet articles or facebook articles or comments to others, but often times it has profanity included in the article, is their a way to X it out or replace it with a kinder gentler word? If so how?

Hi

Thank you for your question.

I have had a look and have found two add-ons for Firefox that you might find useful:

WebCensor - Profanity Filter

and

FoxReplace

Others may exist that may want to look at, I recommend having a look at the add-ons site to find one that meets your needs.

Firefox does not come with any censorship features installed by default.

However, you are welcome to browse through the various Firefox add-ons available to download and see if one provides that features that you are seeking.
