I am having trouble with the emails all of a sudden. The sent folder has disappeared. The layout of the page has changed. I have uninstalled and re-installed. I sent an email using my gmail account, but this did not show up on Thunderbird. I am using Windows 10. I thought to look through the possible options in Help, but got stuck because I cannot figure out what Manage Folder Subscriptions means. How do you subscribe to a folder?

Chosen solution

Imap mail accounts see a remote view of the folders on the server. To see these folders you need to subscribe to see them. Right click on mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Subscribe'. A new window should open showing a list of folders. Select the folders you want to see in Thunderbird and click on 'Subscribe' click on OK
