How do I install my old bookmarks and passwords in this new Mac laptop?
I am starting with a fresh install of OS X, 10.11.6, on a new partition and reinstalling all software. I would like to transfer the files for my bookmarks and passwords into the fresh version of Firefox. Would someone please tell me which files I need to move to reinstall my passwords and bookmarks. I know it needs to go into the User/Library file which I have access to. I am reasonably advanced. I just need to know which files to transfer from my old FF file into this new FF file.
Thank you in advance for your help!

key3.db and logins.json : These are the Password files. Copy Both !

Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.
Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.
This is your current profile. Copy the folder As Is to a folder on a thumb drive. Then Copy the folder to the new system.
Thank you for your response, but I already knew I could move the entire folder into the new Firefox folder. I want to avoid that since the size of that file is 13GB.
I have been dragging individual files into the folder which has almost solved my problem. The only thing I can't get working are the saved passwords. Do you know which file contains those so I can restore them?
Does anyone know how to restore my saved passwords from the old Profiles folder?
Thank you in advance.

First, Thank you Fred!
Just a little info for anyone trying to do this in the future. I had to put the two files I was replacing in the new Profile folder: key3.db and logins.json in the Trash before I copied the old files into the new profile folder. I wanted to post this before I marked it Solved.
Thanks again Fred for your help. Have a wonderful holiday,
Paul
