Inaccurate description of a hyperlink on Mozilla Firefox
When a search is conducted on Mozilla Firefox, a hyperlink with an inaccurate description of what will be found when the hyperlink is clicked on appears. The website that the hyperlink takes you to has deleted the inaccurate information on their website. However, this description remains on the hyperlink’s description on Mozilla Firefox. How can an inaccurate description be deleted on the landing page of a search? Thank you.

Hi, I'm not seeing the link you mention on Google or Start Page, but that may depend on which search engine you are using and possibly my locale.
This sounds more like an issue with the search provider - who you would need to contact, rather than Firefox. However in case something has been stored on your PC, you can try deleting ALL references to the website in question. To do that, open the 3-bar menu, choose History (looks like a clock), then click the Show All History link at the bottom of the list to open the Library window. Search for the website you want to clear by typing its name in the Search History field in the top-right corner, then press Enter. Now in the search results, right-click on the site you want to remove, and select Forget About This Site. (Browsing and download history, cookies, cache, active logins, passwords, saved form data, exceptions for cookies, images and pop-ups for that site will be removed). Give it a minute to complete the deletion, then try the search again. More - Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox
