I was able to transfer all my 'bookmarks' from my old computer to my new one. How do I now transfer all the 'overflow' bookmarks (next to the scroll bar)?

(The 'overflow' bookmarks being those that don't fit in my bookmarks bar at the top and are stored in a fly-out pane on the right side.)

I didn't see anything about how to transfer the 'overflow' bookmarks to my new computer.

How did you transfer the bookmarks? If you used a backup file (.json or .jsonlz4) or an export file (.htm or .html) then all of the bookmarks should have transferred at once.

Could you compare your lists in the Library window (assuming you still have access to both)? You can open that using either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+b
  • Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks

In the left column, click Bookmarks Toolbar to see the contents of that "container." Do they not match?

By the way, I think of the >> icon as the one to access bookmarks that do not fit on the bar. Is that the button you had before? If that button is missing, is it possible that any of your add-ons might be customizing that area of the interface?
