Open link in background tab
My style of browsing appears to be incompatible with FF57. I like to go through a page, opening multiple links in background tabs (which I like to appear at the end of my tab list, all the way to the right) then I go to each one and read them once I've gone through a blog or whatever it is and found all the things I want to read.
The right click option of open link in a new background tab is gone. And opening in a new tab sets the new tab immediately after the one I'm in, which I don't want. Can you please restore background tab behavior to its previous form? Or add an option to do so?

Right click >> open link in new tab.
No, that opens it in a foreground tab. I want control over whether it opens in the background or the foreground. I can change my settings so opening a new tab won't switch to it, but I don't always want that. I want to choose with every link whether I want it in the background or not.
And that also doesn't fix that it opens immediately next to the tab I was on. Background tabs used to open at the end of the tab list. This has been standard in every single Firefox ever released and is suddenly gone.
I'm sorry this did not fix your issues, tab API is still being worked on for WebExtensions!
Ok, well hopefully it gets fixed eventually. I don't really want to go searching for an add on just to get something that seems like a basic part of a browser but whatever works.
