I am running FF with a number of windows and tabs. FF 56.0.2 runs with few problems. When I start 56.0.2, it takes a few minutes for all the windows to start. But then Ff is usable. I upgraded to 57.0 this afternoon, and when FF starts, other applications do not respond, and after 10 minutes, none of the FF windows has initialized. All are waiting for something. This is Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. I know that I have a lot of tabs and windows, but with FF 57.0 I cannot do anything to close some tabs, and very littler on my machine is usable (solitaire still works). I do not know if this web page will allow me to upload my 762,883 recovery.jsonlz4 file.

Fred, i do not understand your reply. I am fairly sure that my problem with FF 57.0 was NOT due to the way I installed it, which was to respond "YES" to the download prompt. I assume that if I went to the Mozilla FTP download site and then downloaded the entire 57.0 32-bit package, the result would be the same - a FF that, with my current window/tab configuration does not start windows in a timely fashion. I restarted FF 56.0.3 this morning, and within two minutes all of my windows were ready to use. When I first started FF 57.0 yesterday, even after about 8 minutes NONE of my windows was ready to be used. Note that I ALWAYS run FF in safe mode.
