FireFox updated my computer this AM and now I want my Bookmars returned to the way it was.
My book marks pull-down list has changed for some unknown to me reason. Now instead of the book marks tool and the other bookmarks tool have been edited down, meaning quite a few of my bookmarks disappeared, others mixed in together in a jumble, and all the folders are gone and most but not all of the web pages that were in them. needless to say, I WANT THEM BACK, I need them. Why would FireFox screw with people like this?

hi, the following steps should get you back to the bookmarking structure you're familiar with :))
- click on the library icon and go to bookmarks > bookmarking tools > add bookmarks menu to the toolbar.
- now when you click the icon that's newly appearing on the toolbar, you'll get to the same bookmarks menu like in earlier versions...
Philipp,
Thanks for the quick comeback.
How do I restore all the folders that are gone? They're not in what's left of my bookmarks.?
Or even better, I just want to revert to the old version of FireFox AND GET MY OLD COMPLETE toolbar back. It worked.
hm, try to press ctrl+shift+b to go to the library - on top you'll find an "import & backup" menu where you can restore some snapshots of your bookmarks that firefox automatically created.
all the folders are still gone and the same sites are still missing. Is there anything that can be done? If not I think it's good by Firefox for me.
