I'm running Vista,Norton AV, Adblockplus. I have to refresh firefox quite often to speed things up. How do I find out what is slowing things down?

Norton is slowing it down.

As a test, disable Norton in your add-ons manager. Note: This will only disable the Norton plugin. Not the main program.

How long between the refresh and the problem returns?

If the problem continues;

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
