Hello, today I upgraded to Thunderbird 52.6.0 After while I noticed that my filters don't work If I run search on folder and select "body" and "contains" - no results

I tried delete global-messages-db.sqlite and redownload IMAP folder - still same

Then I downgraded to Thunderbird 52.5.2 and search is working again.

Some of the T-Bird upgrades included notes that Filters required re-installation.

Thanks for reply. You'r right, my main problem is body search in filters.

But I can replicate problem with manual search without using filters. So filters are not cause of problem. ( if I search in "Search Messages" windows and try match "Body" contains - I get zero results in newer TB)

Today i upgraded to 52.7.0 and after that downgraded again to 52.5.2 because of this problem. Thanks

I'm using 52.6.0 and have no issues. Updated to 52.7.0 and everything still works ok.

  • Selected email
  • Menu icon > Find > Search Messages
  • selected mail account name
  • selected 'Search subfolders'
  • selected 'match all of following'
  • entered only one codition 'Body' and 'contains' and 'replacement'
  • result returned 41 matches.

So this is working ok for me. however, I am using standard Mozilla Thunderbird and you mention you are using the 'Portable' version. Suggest you check out to see if they are experiencing reports of this issue. https://portableapps.com/forums/support/thunderbird_portable
