reset password twice using reset link via email, still not working at sign-in page
Trying to login to FFox so I can sync across devices. Keep getting wrong user/password message. Did a resent using reset link sent to my email, everything looked fine. Went to login page tried to login with new pword, no joy. Tried entire procedure again, still no hit, same message wrong user/pword -

It sounds like you are trying to login and receiving a message of a failed login. I am sorry to hear this.
As long as no changes have been made to the profile folders or the computer, all of the profile information will be in the local profile. Please feel free to make a local back up of the profile. Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data
Then go ahead and create a new account with the email address.
