I'm using Firefox on my Mac Book Pro, when I try to upload attachments like pictures in G Mail, they can't be viewed in the preview nor can they be downloaded. When exploring places like restaurants on Google Maps, pictures are not shown in the preview until I click on the gray square, then I can view them in fullscreen mode.

Both of these things work in Google Chrome, I think it has been like this since I started using the Mac Book.

I'd appreciate any help.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}

Yes, the problem still exists in safe mode and there's no shield icon on either of these pages...

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
