Bitdefender has installed a spam toolbar - how can I get rid of it?
Just installed Bitdefender. Must have done something careless because - even though I haven't paid for the Bitdefender anti-spam module (need an "upgrade" for that) - there is now a totally useless - greyed out - Bitdender anti-spam toolbar in Tbird. I can hide it using options, but it just comes back the next time I open Tbird. How can I get rid of it permanently?

I found this article on how to make the toolbar display. Maybe you can reverse engineer it to make it go away. https://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-to-display-the-antispam-toolbar-when-it-is-not-integrating-in-the-email-client-793.html

Look in Add ons.
I already did look in add ons. Its not there.
Maybe you can ask Bitdefender how to work their software.
I've already done that, too. Still waiting for a response of any kind from them.

tried that before I posted n M support - no good.
re-installed Bitdefender - worked. No more ghost toolbar.
