As was explained this forum tries to help with your issue/s. We have tried and the conclusion is is that the sound you want is a notification and or a alert that is created by your gaming site forum : https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com/ Please submit a request to your game site support to find out if it is possible to turn these sounds off due to the irritation it causes you. https://support.playbattlegrounds.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Failing that please check out a Extension that can mute all sounds while you are in the game forum. At this time this as far as can help you regarding this issue on version 56. or any other version.

Demanding things that can not be accomplished as explained to you will not get a result you desire.

Hi geroesop, I'd like to try reproduce the issue, so I've created an account at https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com. What do I need to do next to get a notification sound? My profile is https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com/profile/217165-cilias/

It looks like there's a setting on the website.

  1. Sign in to https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com
  2. Go to the URL https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com/notifications/options/
  3. Uncheck Play a sound when I receive a notification
  4. Click Save

I don't care about site settings. There is a way to disable this through browser settings.

I'm sorry, without muting tabs by default, I don't think there currently is a way. :( ...unless anyone else has a suggestion.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, go to the Help menu and select Submit Feedback.

If you have any more questions, could you please read Mozilla Support rules and guidelines? I've had to edit out the profanity and personal attacks in your earlier posts, thanks.

This can't be real cuz firefox is the best and most customizable web browser.
