If I hit gmail, then contacts, a pop up opens to the upper right and points to small box that has account, search, maps and many more. no contacts. heree is the pop up Your Contacts are here. Contacts, and many other Google apps, can be found under this menu.

Hi oliviag126, the missing Contacts app icon doesn't seem to affect everyone, but I do see a number of recent threads on Google's support forum:

Hi, see if this is the issue : One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tracking-protection

What Security Software are you running please ?

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

First, I'm 75 and not very good with computers. that info seems to be for sites, not just my contact list. I can send a email and click on to and the list appears. problem is, I can't get the list to open so I can correct any email addresses. But thank you for the interest.

You might have to have some with more computer savvy to sit with you and see what is going on with your emails in person.

When I click the "9 squares" menu button, it does show Contacts, and that opens a new tab with this page:

https://contacts.google.com/

I don't know why that isn't listed on yours. ???

when I click the link on your answer, it opens the contact list and I can edit them. However, it does not open from the email as I explained. I put the link you sent in my bookmarks and that will open it but not from the email. THanks

One strange think I noticed about the Google Apps menu (the one that opens from the "9 squares" button): There is a "more stuff" link at the bottom which shows more icons, then "even more stuff" below that. However, if I scroll back up too far, all the extra icons disappear. ?!

Anyway, just wondered if Contacts was under the "more" part of the list for you.

No, if you hit more, no contacts appear

If I can't get them to open through the email screen, I can hit the link that you posted and do it from there. however, there must be a way to open them from the email. thanks

It's supposed to be on the Google apps menu. If you haven't already, in case an old file is stuck in Firefox's cache, could you try clearing cached files. This article has the steps:

How to clear the Firefox cache

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
