How to make bookmark remember the previous path
So I am a firefox newbie, I used to use chrome for my whole life. In chrome when you bookmark something, next time that you wanna bookmark another thing it suggest the path of the previous thing that you bookmarked. e.g. if i create a folder and bookmark a page there, for the next page if i wanna bookmark it, it shows the same folder as default and if i wanna change it i can do it or not. In firefox every time it shows a other bookmarks as default and i have to go and change it to the address that i want want, which is kinda stupid and annoying, is there a way to make the bookmark remember the address of the previous bookmarked thing?

Hi, no. Bookmarks have not really changed. I am old school with the Menu Bar up top as have the room to do so. I just drag the URL out of the address bar over to Bookmarks which open and dump it into the folder. Do not even use the Star though possibly be faster. I would suggest you have a go at looking and comparing these :
- https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?platform=linux&q=Bookmark+Manager
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
When the "Page Bookmarked" panel opens, and you click the Other Bookmarks button, the drop-down should list the most recent locations. There's no built-in way to default to that last location, as far as I know. Hopefully you can find an extension that takes care of it to avoid that extra two clicks.
One reason I think people focus less on folder location for bookmarks in Firefox is their integration into the address bar suggestion system. You'll notice that as you use it, there is a greater availability of local data, Firefox isn't always trying to get you onto the Google search results page. ;-)
I think that is ridiculous. You need to go to the bookmark menu and manually select the path that you want, what if there are 100 pages in order that you wanna save them in one specific place?! you should do it manually still! ugh, It is stupid, im thinking to switching back to chrome, that is my solution
