Looking for how to troubleshoot a site sign in failure with latest Firefox
This morning I updated to Firefox 61.0.2. Since the update, I cannot sign into the Safeway web site.
If I run in Safe Mode, then the sign in would work. But when I run Firefox in normal mode and disable every add-on, it still fails. I've been through the all recommended ways to troubleshoot and nothing helps.
My only clue is that when I look at the Web Console under the Web Developer tools, I see the following errors occur every time I click the "Sign In" button, but only when running in normal mode:
Error: [RSS Error] ADRUM is not defined b@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/app-dfeb4990d2.js:9:31196 S@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/app-dfeb4990d2.js:10:1680 fn@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/lib-aef92e5468.js line 8 > Function:4:268 t@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/lib-aef92e5468.js:6:14699 i@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/lib-aef92e5468.js:8:29927 $eval@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/lib-aef92e5468.js:6:24775 $apply@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/lib-aef92e5468.js:6:25007 pa[t]</compile/</<@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/lib-aef92e5468.js:8:29977 dispatch@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/lib-aef92e5468.js:3:7320 add/g.handle@https://www.safeway.com/CMS/account/login/js/lib-aef92e5468.js:3:5430 <pre>undefined lib-aef92e5468.js:6:9778

I don't know what all the Safe Mode does but it appears this problem is not related to an add-in or theme. I also got rid of my userChrome.css just in case that was a cause, but no change.
Can anyone advise as to how I could get this to work. BTW, I'm not affiliated with the Safeway site; I'm just a user.

I think it may be Tracking Protection. I get that same error unless I turn it off on the site.
Do you see a shield icon toward the left end of the address bar, near the lock icon? You can click that to open a panel where you can turn it off temporarily.

Separate Security Issue, please update your Flash 28.0 r0 by removing it with this tool : https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html If you use it Reinstall with Flash Player Version: 30.0.0.154 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>
If you can get in with Safe Mode then please :
As one or a group of them will be the issue.

Thanks jscher2000.
Oddly, the tracking shield did not appear. I only use session cookies and kept clearing them as well as the cache, to no avail. But based on your response, I clicked the padlock icon. Suddenly it worked, but then it failed again. And I could see that if the shield appeared it worked and if it disappeared, it failed. Through the padlock icon, I got to the "more information" page and cleared cookies and site data. That seems to have done it. Now the tracking shield icon always appears and there seems to be no reason to disable tracking protection. Thanks again.
