I need an e-mail client that will run on Mac OSX 10.6.8

Verizon sold its e-mail business to AOL, nothing but problems since when trying to send/receive e-mail using Apple Mail. What other e-mail app will run on 10.6.8? Can't upgrade the OS because of processor limitations. Thank you.

It looks like TB 45 is the last release to support OS X 10.6. Download the installer in the language of your choice here.

Thunderbird support has ended for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-osx


Also note Firefox 45.9.0esr released April 19, 2017 was the most up to date version with security fixes that still supported OSX 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 and not the older Fx 48.0.2 released August 24, 2016
