I had to opt-out of the DoH study while connected to our company VPN (private dns zone that differs from the public zone), but would like to participate in the study during the time I an not using our VPN (which is most of the time).

Is there a way to opt-in to the study once I have opted-out?

Is that related to mozilla? If not then mozilla can't do anything about it.

It's part of "Shield" (Mozilla studies) .....

Hello traedis,

You normally opt in or out of the studies by either checking or unchecking the box saying "Allow Firefox to install and run studies" in Options => Privacy & Security => under 'Firefox Data Collection and Use" (which you obviously know).

I can't be sure though if checking the box, will have you participate in the same studies you once opted out of, but worth a try ....

Maybe you could try this :

Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if asked)

Type in the search bar network.trr.mode

and set its value to 2

(this turns on DoH)

Then close and restart Firefox.
