I listen to radio in one tab while browsing in other tabs, where embedded ads often make it hard to avoid triggering audio as I scroll. How can I prevent these ads from shutting if the audio I want to prioritize?

How about installing an adblocker, e.g. like Adblock Plus? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

There are others available on AMO though.
