It seems random. </blockquote> Hi Indoctrine, the tabs shown in the overlay when you hold down the Ctrl key and press and release the Tab key seem to be the most recently accessed tabs in that window. Mine has a button below that saying "List all 28 Tabs" which switches to the "All Tabs" drop-down (button at the right end of the Tabs bar, like an upside down ^) -- that one is in the same order as the Tabs bar. Would you want it to work some other way? By the way, you can switch Ctrl+Tab to sequential navigation instead of the most recent overlay. See: [[Tab preferences and settings]].
