Screen share pop-up will not go away
I'm running Firefox 78.0.2 on a desktop system with Linux Mint 19.3 OS. I'm using Blackboard (online training hosting service) and, at one point, I clicked on a link "Share screen". The window in the attached image popped up. However, I decided I didn't want to actually share my screen. I found absolutely NO way to get rid of this pop-up UNLESS I actually selected "Allow" or "Don't Allow". I tried clicking somewhere else on the screen, clicking outside of Firefox to take the focus off of it, opening another program altogether, clicking on the various icons next to the address bar. Nothing worked. The only work-around I found was to select "Don't Allow", then manually click on the new icon, and "X" next to "Block screen sharing". Is this a bug? Or can I put in a feature request to put a "X" (close window) on this so that I can make it go away without having to jump through those hoops? Thanks.
Chosen solution
Hi schafer4, on Windows, I usually press the Esc key. This just rolls up the panel and leaves the icon pending there, but in many cases, that's all I care about. Not sure if that would work on Mint.

Hey, jscher2000! Where were you an hour ago when I was cursing up a storm at this simple problem? Yes, that solved the problem. I didn't think to methodically click on each key of the keyboard. That would have been the first one. So simple. You're a life saver! Thanks! P.S. For any Mozilla developers, I'd REALLY like an "X" button (close window) on this pop-up for us neanderthals.
Modified
Generally speaking, developers don't drop by here unless there's a huge prairie fire they need input on. However, you have many choices to submit feature suggestions, depending on your desired style of interaction:
Discussion Sites/Advocacy
- Mozilla Discourse: https://discourse.mozilla.org/
If none of the categories seem to fit, try https://discourse.mozilla.org/c/firefox-development - Reddit (monitored by Mozilla): https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/
- I saw someone created a Change.org petition but I don't know who sees those
Limited Length Comments
- Feedback site: https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/
- Twitter (Mozilla official): https://twitter.com/firefox
Bug Tracking System
- Unfortunately, new feature requests tend to get a lower priority: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

Okay. Thanks, jscher2000. Greatly appreciate the help!
