No picture for videos

Windows 10 ver 2004; Firefox 80.0.1 (64 bit) Hi

Videos in facebook and other apps don't work properly. The opening still is OK but as soon as I press 'Play' the progress bar displays movement and sound is present but no picture appears. If I point the cursor at the progress bar a thumbnail appears but no screen images. I have followed the tips on several previous posts to no avail.

Advice gratefully appreciated

It doesn't seem as though I am about to receive a response/ solution to my problem. However, can anyone suggest another site where I can get advice ?

I have always problem with videos in FB. I see images but It always crawling and it's very slow response. Maybe you try to open somehow the link in other player.
