With some websites, when I click on the Reader View, instead of seeing the text from the webpage it shows me what is clearly a privacy disclaimer. (See attached screenshot.) Why is this happening, and what can I do to fix it?

Hmm, that's not helpful. The Reader view feature looks for the main article but somehow it is finding that notice. Is there any overlay on the page that you can click off to get rid of it before going into Reader view? All I saw at https://time.com/5912705/covid-19-stop-spread-christmas/ was the cookie notice in the lower left; maybe yours shows something different.

FredMcD, not sure if this is what you were referring to, but here's the link to the original article:

I tried the link using several versions of Firefox and had no problem.

Remove History For One Site {web link}

Open the History Manager <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right-click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any site settings

That worked; thanks FredMcD!!

I still am perplexed why the notice about Cookies loaded instead of the Reader View. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps I or Firefox deselected cookies from the website and the notice was the website's way of saying, "Okay, you can turn this cookie or the other off, but our website won't render correctly," or some such. I have no actual knowledge about this; I'm just spitballing. Thanks again.
