I would try removing cookies and site data. That will mean you have to log in again. For good measure, you could also clear the cache.

I don't know of any free email service which is as good as Gmail. Popular choices are Outlook (I don't know whether that is free) and Yahoo. I am able to load Gmail but I find after some use it uses a lot of RAM so I quit it and load it anew in another tab. For searches I use DuckDuckGo.

Hello gpbaker1940,

maybe you could use a desktop email client like Thunderbird to view your mails. Here are installation instructions:

  1. Download the latest version of Thunderbird from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/ and save the setup file to your computer.
  2. Now, go ahead and install Thunderbird:
    1. Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
    2. Once the wizard is finished, choose to open Thunderbird after clicking the Finish button.

For more detailed instructions, visit Installing Thunderbird on Windows. Please report back to see if this helped you!

Thank you. qxyz123
