How do I save separate e-mails, or whole Folders, to my PC?

more options

Hello!

Which is the best method, if I want to Save/Copy separate e-mails, or whole Folders, from TB to my PC?

Do I have to use the Save as.. command for each separate e-mail I wish to Copy from TB to my PC? Or is there a way to copy a whole TB Folder on to my PC?

Many thanks in advance for all help!

There is an addon, ImportExportTools, that will do that easily for you.

Hi David!

Thank you very much for your prompt reply!

I tried using the addon you recommended. I can export Folders OK to my PC, but I encountered problems:

1/ Using the Export Folder option, my Folders are exported OK to my PC, but when I open an exported Folder in Word format, the Folder contents are incomplete. In one Folder, one of half a dozen messages was missing. The other messages all showed up in the same Word document, I guess this is correct? In another Folder, only one message showed up in Word format, the many other messages in the Folder were not exported. Or were all messages exported but the resulting large Word document takes time to open?

2/ Some randomly selected Folders, after exporting, are imported in MS-DOS-format in my PC.

3/ Using the Right-click Export all messages in Folder option, and randomly choosing a format option (such as PDF or Unformatted text), I get a warning message: If I use this format, the message cannot be imported.

Exported messages will no longer function as TB messages, right? They are only exported and saved in a read-only format such as Word or PDF?

Many thanks in advance for any additional help re: the above!
