La funzione di ricerca è interna Thunderbird, per cui una volta esportata la posta questa non è più cercabile se non ricorrendo a strumenti esterni (ad esempio la funzione Cerca del sistema operativo).

Per l'esportazione ti suggerisco di usare l'estensione ImportoExportTools NG https://addons.thunderbird.net/it/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools-ng/ che permette di esportare la posta sia nel formato di Thunderbird sia in altri formati. Esportando in formato eml o html, questa estensione può generare anche un indice html che può essere usato per muoversi tra i messaggi.
