"multiple recipients" message on Thunderbird
After the latest Thunderbird update, if I send an email to more than one recipient, I get the following message:
The message contains multiple recipients.
The "Recipients Reminder" shall prevent accidentally clicking on "Send Now" or "Send Later". To start Mail Merge please click "Cancel" and use the menu item "Tools -> Mail Merge" or the toolbar button "Mail Merge".
I routinely send emails to more than one recipient, so this message is somewhat annoying. How do I stop seeing it?

You could remove the MailMerge addon
That's somewhat akin to chopping off a finger to get rid of a hangnail. I occasionally need to use MailMerge for bulk mailings. There should be a way to prevent the "error" message without removing MailMerge.
In that case, just change the setting of the Mailmerge addon.
And which setting would that be...?
And, maybe rhetorically, why do updates always seem to cause problems like this?
Probably the 'recipients reminder' option, increasing to a higher number.
And where do I find the settings menus for the mail merge add on? Sorry, not experienced with this stuff.
If I do increase the recipients reminder option to an appropriate number, will the message still go out as a "multiple recipient" message, so that people receiving it can reply to all, or does it merge into X number of individual messages?
click tools>addons and then locate the MailMerge addon and you should see an icon of a wrench. click that. The counter is only to stop the reminder message.
Thanks! Problem solved. I really appreciate the help, David.
