Thunderbird version: 102.6.1 (64-bit) Current release Windows 11 - up to date

Hello. I have a number of folders and subfolders. I've been using Thunderbird for over 10 years and with multiple email accounts. Starting about a year ago I noticed that some subfolders do not show up in the left pane, so I cannot see the emails that I have saved in them. I am able to save emails into those folders but cannot see them after they are saved.

I have tried searching for solutions and have tried repairing and other possible solutions that I found in my searches. Nothing has worked.

I just found the "Troubleshoot mode" and launched Thunderbird in that mode. I can see all of the subfolders and emails when in this mode.

Is this an issue that sounds familiar? Can anyone provide steps to fix this? Is there a downside to just running Thunderbird in Troubleshoot mode?

TIA!

This may (or may not) help: try rightclicking account and clicking 'subscribe' to see if those folders are ticked.

Thank you for your reply.

When you say "rightclicking account," what do you mean? In my folders pane, I tried rightclicking on the account which contains the subfolders in question, but "Subscribe" is not one of the options. I've tried rightclicking in normal and Troubleshoot modes and don't see Subscribe in either. I also went to Tools->Account settings and rightclicked the account. Still no Subscribe option. I did a search for Subscribe in Thunderbird and I see references to IMAP. All of my accounts are POP, in case that matters.

Please let me know what I specifically need to rightclick.

Thank you.

On main screen, in left pane with accounts shown, right-click and a menu should appear as in attached screenshot.

That is not the menu I see when I RightClick. Attached is a screenshot of what my menu shows.

My error. I tend to think every account is an IMAP account. Subscribe doesn't apply to POP.
