Using Firefox Nightly without seeing text problem - no invisible, blank space.

DuckDuckGo (All) search results have normal text. A web forum with much text at https://www.audioasylum.com/audio/vinyl/bbs.html (Classic version) renders normal text with Firefox Nightly.

Using Firefox Nightly that I had updated today PM from Play Store.

about:config, gfx.webrender.software is True.

Our developers have been looking into this issue and a fix for it is being published in Firefox for Android 116 that is expected to be made available from the 1st August.

I have read the discussion re the text / blank space at the bugzilla link you provided. So many people diving into the problem - I was surprised. Can't say that I understood the discussion - too technical. Will be excited for Firefox 116 release. Yay!

Updated to Firefox 116.0 for Android and still I am having the problem of missing text. There is an overlay of blank space where text should be.

The problem has occured at :

https://www.audioasylum.com/audio/vinyl/bbs.html

after opening a thread on the website and watching text appear briefly then disappear when an advertisement graphic loads and pops up on the page.

I had the problem too, but for me it's gone with 116. I just have had a look at the audioasylum forum; can't see any text disappearing. Do you have a more specific example?

I tried everything I could think of but I can't reproduce any missing text as documented in your screenshot.
