After a recent update from Mozilla Firefox, I have these pop up windows that slide out from the bottom right of the screen of my laptop.

They stay there and interfere when I try to use the slider on the right hand side of the screen. Even inactivating my cursor. I have to click onto the pop up box to make it go away. Sometimes it takes me to a stupid article about Harry & Megan or some inane story.

How do I get rid of this? (I need step-by-step instructions please)

I'll NEVER upload another Mozilla Firefox update.

I might find another browser to use.

You need to go to your Firefox email management account. When you get to your actual Firefox account there is a blue box that says "Manage Firefox Account". There you need to check your settings to verify something was set to notifications in those settings. Then you need to relogin to access those settings and once in there the topic should say "Manage your Email Preferences" that should be where you look to change any settings.

If the notifications are coming from websites via Firefox, you can remove push notification permissions for sites you aren't interested in.
