Windows 11 has started giving this error message when I try to start Firefox: "This app can't run on your PC"

I am running Windows 11 and the latest version of Firefox. Firefox was working perfectly yesterday, but today when I tried to open it, I got the message "This app can't run on your PC". What could be the problem and how do I fix it?

I have discovered that when I get the message, "This app can't run on your PC", if I reinstall Firefox, Firefox will open and run as it should. But then the next time I reboot, I will get the "This app can't run on your PC" message once again.

Again, any thoughts on fixing this problem will be greatly appreciated.
