Hello, I was upgrading the FF to 3.6.6 version. After this i get this error: MOZCRT19.dll is not a valid windows image.

1.I have uninstalled and reinstalled for 3-4 times with no help. Deleted the existing installation, even the profile folder etc. Still after the new installation gives same error. 2.Tried using the older version which was working on my PC, 3.5.7 but same error.

Can someone guide what to do? Checked on Internet and i saw some servies.exe could be creating the issue.

Can someone tell the issue? Ankur

Do a search for MOZCRT19.dll to see if there are other copies. You may also have to do a registry cleanup in case that file was registered incorrectly.

I have the same problem, mine started when Flash wanted to update, so i said ok, then once it took me to the installer, I changed my mind and cancelled. And then firefox the dll quit working. What does a registry cleanup do? MOZCRT19.dll only exists inside the Mozilla program files folder, so why would it randomly get corrupted or become un-registered?

This problem can be caused by malware.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.

Step1: Copy the downloaded file and paste it at the following location.

C: / Program Files / Mozilla Firefox

Note: C: It is the drive in which your windows is installed.

Step 2: After copy the file there, restart your windows.

With thousands of users experiencing this problem, why isn't Firefox creating a fix? Very poor judgement and terrible customer support.

Most forum fixes are junk! I turn off ZoneAlarm Pro, launch FF and immediately restart ZAP.

PIMA , fix it already!
