When I log into Gmail from Firefox, I get the following error: An error occurred during a connection to mail.google.com:443.

Peer received a valid certificate, but access was denied.

(Error code: ssl_error_access_denied_alert)

I've read the support forumn in Google support and none of the recommended fixes work.

To resolve this problem, just change a few settings to Firefox. Writing in the URL "about:config"

Then do a search filter by SSL 2 Valauris replace "false" to "true"

It ends!

I have this problem with other sites. Your solution doesn't work there. Is there another solution? (sample page: www.sipgate.de (logged in user))

In my case, I had to untick the "Use TLS 1.0" option in Settings - Advanced - Cypher - Protocols. Don't know exact translation into English, got Italian localization. Adding screenshot for reference.
