Type about:crashes in the URL bar and hit Enter.
Click the hyperlinks to bring up the Crash Report pages and copy'n'paste the URL of each of those reports into the message box here. We'll see if we can help you figure out what is causing those crashes to happen.

Hi DVillard,

I had a similar problem also on Windows 7. I removed firefox and re-installed it, also check if your flash plugin is up-to-date. Seemed to cure it.

Thanks sigot! Painless - Norton Security software deleted a needed file. The file is C:/Program Files(x86)/Mozilla Firefox/plugin-container.exe.

If that file is not there, you need to re-install Firefox, and then you should be good to go.
