I received an email from Coldwater Creek. Somehow the site got transferred into note pad and I cannot open any websites for Cold water Creek through Mozilla Firefox. How do I correct this situation so I can again get into this website and remove it from Notepad?

My wife has the same problem. It seems the E-mail had some bad code and now an "apsx" file will open in Notepad. Check in Tools - Options - applications Then look for aspx. This is the newer web page code for very fancy web sites using databases and all that. You can't change nor delete that "application opener" nor change it to use Firefox. So we're stuck. Maybe try uninstalling Firefox and reinstall. There is no reset in that "application" page. We need some help from the tech guys. You can use IE to go to coldwatercreek.com for now. This could be a bug as she's using FF 4.0.

The same problem has been posted to FF support question 800265 So we don't end up with too many threads on the same problem, subscribe to that thread for further information.

I think the problem is with Firefox. I can go to Internet Explorer and open the Cold Water Creek file. I find no way to open anything for Coldwater Creek through Firefox. Even doing a search for this website through Firefox opens it to notepad.

I can forward an email from Coldwater, before opening trying to go into the site to Internet Explorer and the site opens up just fine.
