Why doesn't Firefox 4.0 have the option to save multiple tabs upon exiting?
Before v4.0, when I had multiple tabs open, when I would exit Firefox it would ask if i want to save my tabs so that I could continue what I was doing when I opened the browser up again. V4.o doesn't ask that. It just closes all my tabs and when I reopen the browser it's only a single tab of my homepage. I dug through the options and you can't set the browser up to ask that any more. You can have it warn you that you are closing multiple tabs but it doesn't save them.

One change in Firefox 4 is to by default stop Firefox displaying the warning message, but it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.
- Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
- Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
- Locate the preference browser.tabs.warnOnClose, if its value is set to false, double-click on it to change its value to true
- Repeat this for these 3 preferences browser.warnOnQuit, browser.warnOnRestart and browser.showQuitWarning
I can get the warning to show, that's easy. You just go into the options and check the box. The issues isn't that. The issue is that when the warning pops up, it only gives a cancel or continue option and not a save and continue option like in previous versions. The save and continue option allows me to jump right back to what i was doing because when i reopen Firefox, it opens all the tabs i had open when i exited the previous session. But thanks for the response anyway.
