Why doesn't my Firefox 3.6.16 navigation toolbar have a control to "Reload the current page" and to "Stop loading the current page"?

I switched back to Firefox 3.6.16 (from Firefox 4) because newer versions didn't allow me to attach Roboform -- however, now the Navigation toolbar no longer has a control to "Reload current page" or to "Stop loading current page". When I used this version previously, both of these controls were part of the Navigation bar. I'm using Compact Menu 24.0, but had used it before with no problem.
