firefox to make changes appears each time I try to open firefox
After the latest microsoft upgrade to explorer firefox will not open unless I click "following program to make changes." The program is Mozilla. Then firefox opens, but the message to make changes appears again afterwards each time I want to open firefox.

Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
- Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
- "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.

The compatability mode on my pc is Windows XP service pack 2. I am using Vista I assume serv. pack 2. Should I change XP to Vista?
Well changing it did not help, in fact nothing happens when I click firefox with Vista compatability mode.
OK. Thanks. I changed compatability mode to Vista and that works.
