speed dial on firefox 5
I have just upgraded to Firefox 5 and the speed dial is no longer working I see this is not shown in the compatible add-ons list. I wish to know if you become available shortly as I have two disabled children with limited movement the way I have setup the screens on speed dial is easy for them to use can simply point and press the desired website without having to try and type anything. Therefore I would be grateful if you could contact me via my e-mail and informally but this will become available or if you have something else that will work in its place. Many thanks Kevin Horler

You can try this extension to override compatibility issues,
Once it is installed, open Addons Manager and re-enable speedDial addon.

I had the same problem. I fixed it by removing the currently installed Speed Dial addon and by going here and clicking the first (+ Add to Firefox) button that was listed. After I restarted Firefox, it worked fine.
Fast Dial (a different but similar addon) just doesn't compare with Speed Dial. The last time I used it, I had an incredibly slow and buggy experience with losses of information that I put in. Speed Dial is much more refined in the programming and customization. Sure, it may not look as pretty but it works--which is more than I can say for Fast Dial.
