Last week Firefox updated to v3.6.18. All my valuable extensions broke:

SnagIt Toolbar Download Helper Grocerlist Generator Tinyurl Generator Web of Trust (WOT)

I need to go back to v3.6.17. Is it available for download?

Extensions that work withe 3.6.17 should work with 3.6.18 or any other 3.6.* release before 3.6.17 just the same. The 3.6.18 is mainly a security update like the majority of the 3.6.* updates.

The issue could be the extension versions you have was set to a mxversion of 3.6.17 instead of the proper 3.6.*

Which Download Helper as there are number of extensions with that in name at addons.mozilla.org and many are compatible with even 5.0

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tinyurl-generator/ TinyURL Generator 2.5.0 is marked compatible with Firefox 1.5 - 5.*

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/wot-safe-browsing-tool/ Web of Trust - Safe Browsing Tool 20110323 is marked compatible with Firefox 3.0 - 7.0a1

James, that's all nice but it doesn't help - my addons are still missing whether they are supposed to be compatible or not.

It appears that the more detailed report I submitted was not made a part of my question that was posted.

All my missing addons appear in the list of current addons installed. Despite this I downloaded all the missing addons again and reinstalled them, but they still do not appears on my browser.

Everything worked fine before Firefox updated. That may not have caused the problem but it's worth trying. That's why I wanted to know if v3.6.17 was still available. Thanks.

It is but it is potentially insecure http://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox36.html ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.6.17/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%203.6.17.exe

You made sure have the most current version of each Extensions right?

One thing I noticed is your useragent has something on end and that can sometimes cause issues. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.18) Gecko/20110614 Firefox/3.6.18 SearchToolbar/1.2

Thank you, James. I went through that process but it didn't make any difference. However, that searchtoolbar thingey concerns me. I don't know what that is. I never download those invasive toolbar addons (ASK, Yahoo, Google, etc). I did reset that useragent but should I delete it instead?

Also, I was unable to reset the other 3 useragents. The reset button was greyed out. I may not have gained anything through all that.

And still none of my addons are showing yet. They all appear active on the Addon dropdown menu and they are all up to date. If I right-click on the toolbar area and try to "customize" the bars, none of the items show up in the list. The Snagit addon is checked as an active toolbar but it no longer appears.

WOT, GrocerylistGenerator, Adblock Plus, Tinyurl Generator - none of them show on the toolbar area. As you mentioned, they are all supposed to be compatible with v3.6.18.

And I am sad...

James - and others - I went through the process of resetting the toolbar in safe mode. Then I disabled all my addons.

One by one I enabled each addon. It turns out to be Web of Trust (WOT) that screws up everything. I can still access in the right-click menu, but I cannot enable it as a toolbar item or it blocks all my other addons.

Boo, Web of Trust!

Ah yes the WOT extension has been a culprit in causing problems on occasions.

Actually, I screwed up. It wasn't WOT, it was Wisestamp. Sorry. Had my cursor on the wrong box - the addons are right together in the list, both starting with W. Oops.

Well WOT has had some issues anyways.

Oh so it was the wiseguy "Wisestamp" that caused you problems eh.

Maybe give some feedback at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/wisestamp-email-signature-gmai/reviews/ if it is indeed that extension.

Doing that now - just submitted a bug report. Checking out other addons instead.

Thanks for your help, James.
